Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Sedation Team in Radiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our sedation services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert paediatric nursing care to patients undergoing sedation procedures in Radiology
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient service delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive work environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sedation protocols and guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sedation services
- NMC Registered Nurse (Child) or HCPC registered ODP with a strong background in paediatric nursing
- Relevant honours degree and willingness to undertake or be undertaking an MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice
- Attendance on a clinical leadership programme and evidence of ongoing professional development
- Basic Life Support certification and ability to administer IV drugs and medication under patient group directives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
