Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Nurse Specialist in our Pam Sassoa Renal Planned Investigation Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care: Assess, plan, and implement care plans for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their care is delivered to the highest standard.
- Lead and support the nursing team: Assist the ward manager in leading the nursing team, deputizing in their absence, and contributing to the development of nursing staff.
- Monitor and improve nursing standards: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintain and enhance the quality of nursing care.
Investigations and Procedures:
As a Nurse Specialist, you will be involved in a range of investigations and procedures, including renal biopsy, renal angiograms, dialysis access, minor day case surgery, blood transfusions, monoclonal antibody infusion, ongoing intravenous antimicrobial therapy, intravenous iron therapy, and Pentamidine inhalation.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
You will work closely with the Senior Sister and collaborate with a team of nurses to deliver excellent nursing care for our patients. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join us.
