Job Title: Relief Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our team in Jarrow, South Tyneside. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide intimate personal care, practical, and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Identify and access opportunities to support individuals in leading meaningful and fulfilling lifestyles
  • Support individuals in the community with various activities, including shopping, social events, and health appointments
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, and professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service
  • Work as part of a team and independently in service user homes
Requirements:

We are looking for a Relief Support Worker who has a minimum of twelve months' experience working with people with learning disabilities. A relevant professional qualification is desirable. You must be warm, empathetic, and able to work in a person-centred way.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country, provides information on the service and shifts, and offers directions.
