Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with a learning disability, including intimate personal care and practical assistance.
  • Identify and access opportunities to support service users in leading meaningful and fulfilling lifestyles.
  • Support individuals in the community with various activities, including shopping, social events, and health appointments.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that meets the needs of service users.
  • Work as part of a team and independently in service user homes.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of twelve months experience of working with people with a learning disability.
  • A relevant professional qualification is desirable.
  • Warm and person-centred approach to support.
