About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Palmersdene in Jarrow. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing dignified personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and serving
  • Support residents with their mobility and transfer needs
  • Engage with residents in activities and conversations to promote their mental and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive high-quality care and support
