Creative Support is seeking dedicated and compassionate Relief Support Workers to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities in Jarrow, South Tyneside.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide person-centered care and support, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Person-Centered Care: Providing intimate personal care, practical assistance, and emotional support tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
  • Enhancing Quality of Life: Identifying and facilitating opportunities for service users to engage in activities that promote their well-being and personal growth. This may involve accompanying them on outings, supporting them with shopping or appointments, and encouraging participation in social events.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with service users, families, and other professionals to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to care that meets individual needs.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Contributing effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently in service user homes.
