Job Title: Relief Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Relief Support Worker to provide person-centred support to individuals with a learning disability in Jarrow, South Tyneside.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide intimate personal care, practical, and emotional support to individuals with a learning disability.
  • Identify and access opportunities to support individuals to lead meaningful and fulfilling lifestyles.
  • Support individuals in the community with various activities, including shopping, disco, and health appointments.
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, and professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that meets the needs of individuals.
  • Work as part of a team and alone in service user homes.
About the Role:

This is a fantastic service that enables great outcomes for the people we support. We are looking for Relief Support Workers who have the commitment and dedication to go the extra mile to enable individuals to achieve their personal goals.

A minimum of twelve months' experience of working with people with a learning disability is essential. A relevant professional qualification is desirable. You must be warm and able to work in a person-centred way.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country, provides information on the service and shifts, as well as directions.
