Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will work with children and young people with Autism and Learning difficulties to access the community and participate in sensory activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1-1 support to a child with Autism and Learning difficulties to access the community and participate in sensory activities.
  • Support and take part in activities that the child enjoys, such as visiting parks and going swimming.
  • Work collaboratively with the child's family and other professionals to develop and implement a personalized support plan.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of sensory activities and programs that meet the needs of the child.

Requirements

  • A full UK license and ability to drive your own vehicle.
  • Experience of working with individuals with Autism and Learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
