About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a well-established organization known for its exceptional products.

As the Compliance and Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's standards concerning Health and Safety, Food Safety, and product compliance through comprehensive documentation and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and deliver all internal training sessions while coordinating external training as necessary.
  • Develop training materials, including Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager and Operations Manager to create and document procedures and risk assessments.
  • Establish and manage a training schedule to identify and address training needs.
  • Work alongside site operations to develop a skills matrix and perform gap analysis.
  • Conduct in-house training on Health and Safety, Food Safety, and technical processes, ranging from onboarding to refresher courses and specific task training.
  • Organize external training sessions, such as First Aid and Fire Safety training.
  • Assist in documenting risk assessments for on-site activities and identifying potential hazards.
  • Support the documentation of necessary procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Manager to facilitate online training modules for staff, including COSHH, Manual Handling, and Level 2 Food Safety.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess experience in the food or food-related manufacturing sector and hold qualifications such as IOSH Managing/Working Safely or CIEH Level 3 Food Safety or higher.

Demonstrable experience in developing, implementing, and delivering workplace training for Health and Safety and/or Food Safety is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
