About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team in Selby. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare of our young people.
  • Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard, meeting the needs of our young people and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and resolve any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care is essential, and a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred.
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
