Opus People Solutions is seeking a dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our EBD children's residential home in Selby. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each child receives the highest quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the home, upholding high care standards in line with National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Develop quality assurance measures and seek young people's feedback to continuously improve our services.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure the welfare of our young people.
  • Recruit, induct, and supervise staff, providing development plans and fostering effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with BESD children and managing challenging behavior.
  • Commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children.
  • Effective planning, organizing, and resource allocation skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with children in the past 5 years, including at least 1 year in a supervisory/senior position in residential care.
  • NVQ 4 in Caring for Children & Young People (or equivalent) or working towards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in children's residential care.
