About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people in our residential home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to provide exceptional care and support.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
  • Ensure the home is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the home.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in residential care, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred.
  • Knowledge of childcare legislation, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior and work with children with complex needs.
