Position Overview:

We are seeking a Production (Filling) Operative for our Minsterley facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and managing designated production lines, meeting daily operational targets, and upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Important Note: This position requires shift work, operating on a 4 on 4 off schedule with 12-hour shifts, including both day and night shifts.

Compensation: Salary is set at £30,174.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving the daily production schedule for the assigned line during shifts.
  • Operate machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance as necessary.
  • Understand and strive to exceed daily Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Ensure the availability of materials and packaging for production.
  • Collaborate with Key Operators to execute start-up procedures, maintaining high standards of manufacturing, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the production process.
  • Facilitate effective handovers between shifts, remaining on the line until the next operator is in place.
  • Monitor product quality, identifying non-conformance issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure that all documentation related to Safety Information and Quality is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Train fellow operators to ensure they are competent in their assigned roles.
  • Exemplify appropriate behavioral standards in alignment with Company values and culture.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations, effectively manage Critical Control Points (CCPs), and comply with site quality procedures.
  • Maintain GMP standards in the line/area and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Exercise reasonable care for the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others affected by actions or omissions.
  • Perform any additional duties within the employee's skill set as reasonably instructed.
  • Actively promote and adhere to all Company Policies, Procedures, and Values.
