Position Overview:

We are seeking a Production (Filling) Operative for our Minsterley facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and managing designated production lines, achieving daily operational targets, and upholding GMP standards.

Note: This position requires shift work, operating on a 4 on 4 off schedule with 12-hour shifts, including both day and night shifts.

Compensation: Salary is set at £30,174.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in achieving the daily production objectives for the assigned line during shifts.
  2. Operate machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance as necessary.
  3. Work towards exceeding daily KPI targets.
  4. Ensure the availability of necessary materials and packaging.
  5. Collaborate with Key Operators to execute start-up procedures, maintaining high standards of manufacturing, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout production.
  6. Facilitate effective handovers between shifts, remaining on the line until the next operator takes over.
  7. Monitor product quality, addressing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  8. Ensure that SIC and Quality information is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
  9. Complete all required documentation, ensuring it is current and accessible.
  10. Train operators to ensure they are competent in their assigned tasks.
  11. Exemplify appropriate behavioral standards in alignment with Company values and culture.
  12. Adhere to food safety regulations, effectively managing CCPs and following site quality procedures.
  13. Maintain Line/Area GMP standards while seeking continuous improvement.
  14. Exercise reasonable care for the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others affected by their actions.
  15. Perform any additional duties within the employee's skill set as reasonably instructed.
  16. Actively promote and comply with all Company Policies, Procedures, and Values.
