Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Production (Filling) Operative for our Minsterley facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and managing designated production lines, meeting daily operational objectives, and upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Important Note: This position requires shift work on a 4 on 4 off basis, involving 12-hour shifts, both day and night.

Compensation: Salary is set at £30,174.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving the daily production schedule for the assigned line during shifts.
  • Operate machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance as needed.
  • Understand and strive to exceed daily Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary materials and packaging.
  • Collaborate with Key Operators to execute startup procedures, maintaining high standards of manufacturing, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the production process.
  • Facilitate effective handovers between shifts, remaining on the line until the next operator is in place.
  • Monitor product quality, identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of SIC and Quality documentation.
  • Complete all required documentation, ensuring it is current and accessible.
  • Train fellow operators to ensure they are competent in their assigned tasks.
  • Exemplify and promote appropriate behavioral standards in alignment with Company values and culture.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations, effectively manage Critical Control Points (CCPs), and comply with site quality procedures.
  • Maintain GMP standards in the Line/Area, continuously seeking improvements.
  • Exercise reasonable care for the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others affected by actions or omissions.
  • Perform any additional duties within the employee's skill set as reasonably instructed.
  • Actively promote and adhere to all Company Policies, Procedures, and Values.
