The Role

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist to design, implement, and manage our recruitment and onboarding strategy. This role is essential for meeting the immediate, medium, and long-term objectives of our organization while aligning with our strategic vision. You will provide expert guidance to Hiring Managers, ensuring a successful, people-focused approach to our business.

This position plays a crucial role in shaping the initial experiences of our employees within the company, delivering a positive experience for both internal and external candidates. Your primary goal will be to facilitate a seamless transition for new team members into their roles.

You will be instrumental in creating and executing comprehensive onboarding programs that go beyond mere paperwork. Your responsibilities will include developing engaging orientation initiatives, producing informative training materials, and ensuring that new hires embark on a smooth and enriching journey within our organization.

Working collaboratively with #TeamSinewave, you will lay the groundwork for their success and long-term development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine recruitment and onboarding processes to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Utilize systems and software to streamline recruitment and onboarding, including employee record management and task automation.
  • Implement and monitor key performance metrics related to recruitment and onboarding, using data to drive enhancements.
  • Manage the recruitment budget effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand and fulfill recruitment needs.
  • Oversee all activities throughout the recruitment process, including managing partner agencies.
  • Source top talent using various tools and resources, including agencies when necessary.
  • Maintain and promote Sinewave's talent pool.
  • Assist current employees transitioning to new departments or positions.
  • Gather feedback from new hires and managers to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to new employees during their initial months, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to create tailored onboarding plans for specific roles.
  • Train hiring managers on effective interviewing and assessment techniques.
  • Work with the marketing team to enhance our employer brand.

Requirements:

Upon joining, you will undergo our comprehensive induction and onboarding process, with opportunities for further development through our in-house training academy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in collaborating with peers and stakeholders to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in guiding hiring managers through the end-to-end recruitment process, including role definition, advertising, and selection.
  • Experience in leading external recruitment initiatives and participating in job fairs and career events.
  • Ability to design and implement a robust onboarding program aligned with company goals and values.
  • Experience coordinating and overseeing training sessions and workshops for new hires.
  • Strong professional network through relationships with HR professionals and partners.

Additional Skills:

  • Full Driving License (maximum of 3 points).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a People Team, particularly in roles related to onboarding, employee development, or HR management.
  • Strong understanding of modern recruitment techniques, tools, and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships, especially in supporting new hires.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving organizational needs and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy in documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, onboarding processes, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and onboarding software/tools.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience, with a willingness to pursue further professional qualifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
