Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meeting all deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for all employees using Bright Pay software, ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations and legislative requirements.
  • Payroll Calculations: Calculate salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions as per company policies and legal requirements.
  • Payroll Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll tax returns, including P45s, P60s, and P11Ds using Bright Pay.
  • Payroll Compliance: Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations, including auto-enrolment for pensions.
  • Payroll Data Security: Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data at all times.
  • Payroll Inquiries: Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Payroll Discrepancies: Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the finance team with various tasks, such as month-end and year-end close processes related to payroll.
Requirements:
  • Payroll Experience: Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of UK payroll practices and procedures.
  • Payroll Administration: Experience in payroll administration, including payroll calculations and statutory deductions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and accurate information to employees.
  • IT Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Bright Pay software.
