The Role

As the Head of Marketing, you will be a vital part of the senior leadership team, responsible for owning the marketing strategy and equity in the UK. You will set the local vision, aligning with the UK portfolio strategy and cascading it to all functions and teams effectively. Your key focus will be on understanding trends within the private label and branded food category, ensuring FMCG Exec is seen as a leader in its category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy, driving business growth and market share.
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they are equipped to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities to stay ahead of the market.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and ROI.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head of or Senior Marketing Manager, ideally within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of private label food and B2B marketing.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • High energy and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Experience of leading high-performing teams and inspiring others to achieve their best.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a commitment to driving business forward.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to shape a vision, create an annual plan, and engage stakeholders to deliver results.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £80k - £95k, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with circa 3 days in the office (M4/M3 area).
