Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a professional Human Resources Advisory and Policy service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on complex HR issues, supporting them in the day-to-day operational management of their services.
  • Work closely with other Employee Relations Managers to effectively manage work allocation and deliver a coordinated HR service.
  • Develop and improve HR policy and practice, applying these across all clients to support the delivery of co-ordinated solutions.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues and investigations, providing practical HR support to clients.
  • Deliver a range of successful HR interventions within a large organisation, to a range of services and audiences at all levels.
Requirements
  • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, HR policy and procedures.
  • Significant experience of advising managers through change processes and on employee relations issues and investigations.
  • Experience of working in a large and complex public sector environment, with political sensitivity and awareness of current challenges and issues facing Local Government organisations.
  • Understanding of Public Sector terms and conditions, the role of local and national agreements, and experience of delivering HR services in a highly unionised environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly across all areas where expertise is required, to support the best use of HR resources to meet fluctuations in demand.
