A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a small but modern manufacturing operation. This standalone Human Resources Manager role is a key position within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), offering the successful candidate the chance to significantly impact the business's strategic direction. This role would suit an existing Human Resources Manager or a HR Advisor looking for their first Human Resources Manager position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all HR functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and compliance with employment legislation.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support business growth and employee engagement.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead employee relations initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters.
  • Drive performance management and professional development programs.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a standalone Human Resources Manager role, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
