Role of Cyber Security Professionals
Our cyber security experts play a vital role in safeguarding our services and the digital systems that support them, ensuring the safety of our customers as they navigate the capital's transport network. This role is crucial in achieving the Government's goal of making the UK the safest place to conduct business online.
Responsibilities
Your primary function will be to offer specialized cyber security counsel, assisting the organization in adhering to established policies, standards, and best practices. Building relationships and managing various stakeholders is essential. We seek a proficient communicator who can simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Key Duties Include:
• Providing guidance to cyber security risk owners and internal audit teams.
• Consulting on the secure design and implementation of systems.
• Aiding stakeholders in identifying and managing cyber security risks.
• Contributing to the development of cyber security standards and strategies.
• Preparing and presenting reports on cyber security status and risks.
• Supporting the enhancement of security measures for IT systems.
• Participating in cyber security governance and approval processes.
• Promoting a culture of cyber security awareness across the organization.
