Cyber Security Architect - Senior Consultant

LT Harper - Cyber Security Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join their team as a Senior Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to build an architecture consulting function, working on a range of projects across various industries, including national security.
As a Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, assessing and managing their security needs, and designing solutions that pragmatically solve cyber security problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading client engagements as a subject matter expert in Cyber Security and assessing/managing their needs.
- Adapting industry best practice to design solutions that pragmatically solve cyber security problems.
- Designing and implementing security management strategies, ensuring security principles are applied during design and development to reduce security and business risk, while considering business strategies and benefits.
- Developing and communicating corporate information security policy, standards, and guidelines.
- Developing new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices, alongside documentation of logical designs, High Level Designs (HLDs), and Low Level Designs (LLDs).
- Supporting and growing the team/organisation, including company strategy.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience reviewing and designing complex systems.
- Strong working understanding of a range of regulations, frameworks, and industry standards (ISO27001, NIST, TOGAF, CAF, SbD).
- Experience leading teams and projects.
- Consultancy background is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication, both written and verbal.
- MUST be eligible for UK security clearance at SC or above.
