Cyber Security Architect - Senior Consultant

Job Summary

LT Harper - Cyber Security Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team as a Senior Consultant. As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a key role in building an architecture consulting function, working on a range of projects across various industries, including national security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Client Engagements: As a subject matter expert in Cyber Security, you will lead client engagements, assessing and managing their needs to ensure the implementation of effective security solutions.
  • Design Security Solutions: You will adapt industry best practices to design solutions that pragmatically solve cyber security problems, ensuring the security principles are applied during design and development to reduce security and business risk.
  • Develop Security Strategies: You will design and implement security management strategies, considering business strategies and benefits, to ensure the security principles are applied during design and development.
  • Communicate Security Policy: You will develop and communicate corporate information security policy, standards, and guidelines to ensure the organization's security posture is maintained.
  • Design New Architectures: You will develop new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices, documenting logical designs, High-Level Designs (HLDs), and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
  • Support Team Growth: You will help support and grow the team/organization, including company strategy.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Experience: You must have hands-on experience reviewing and designing complex systems.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: You must have a strong working understanding of a range of regulations, frameworks, and industry standards (ISO27001, NIST, TOGAF, CAF, SbD).
  • Leadership Experience: You must have experience leading teams and projects.
  • Consultancy Background: A consultancy background is highly desirable.
  • Interpersonal Skills: You must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Security Clearance: You must be eligible for UK security clearance at SC or above.
