Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Lead Nurse to join the innovative 'Clinical Improvement Initiative'. This comprehensive program is dedicated to fostering clinically driven enhancements aimed at significantly refining our daily operational practices within healthcare services.

Our goal is to enhance the experience of our staff by optimizing workflows and eliminating unnecessary variations, while also facilitating digital transformation and information management initiatives.

The successful candidate will serve as a vital liaison between healthcare services and the initiative, offering clinical insights to aid in the development, design, and execution of novel operational methods. They will spearhead discussions and engagement with various services, ensuring that staff are actively involved in the improvement process and that their suggestions for enhancements are duly considered and tested. Collaboration with the Chief Nursing/AHP Information Officer, who oversees data and digital literacy, as well as the formation of a Digital Champions Network, will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

The appointee will lead clinical discussions, ensuring robust engagement with all personnel within services, starting with community teams. They will be accountable for confirming that any re-engineering initiatives are clinically sound (in partnership with the Digital Clinical Safety Officer) and sustainable.

Requirements

The candidate must possess a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for business purposes (unless exempt under the Equality Act 2010).
