In this fulfilling role, you will support young individuals within a residential environment, fostering their independence and helping them acquire new skills.   • Salary: £24,960 - £28,860 (Pro Rata)
  • Location: Yate
  • Hours: 16 hours per week + one sleep shift weekly
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Shift Times: 16 hours + one sleep shift weekly

Key Responsibilities of the Support Worker Role:

  • Encourage young individuals to engage in activities and take charge of their lives based on their age.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly atmosphere within the homes.
  • Handle challenging behaviors with professionalism when necessary.
  • Provide personal care as required.
  • Support residents in promoting their independence and overall well-being.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all service users.
  • Stay informed about each individual's care plan, guidelines, reward systems, and preferred communication methods.
  • Support individuals through challenging behaviors in a safe and compassionate manner.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience as an Adult Support Worker in a similar environment is preferred.
  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Adult Social Care is desirable (or willingness to pursue this qualification).
  • A genuine passion for empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, as travel between sites may be required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
