Finance Administrator/Accounts

Location: Tewkesbury

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £27,000

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our team at Glos. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process purchase invoices for suppliers and subcontractors
  2. Collaborate with the Contracts Team for timely invoice approvals
  3. Raise purchase orders
  4. Handle mid-month and month-end payment runs
  5. Enter payments into the accounting software
  6. Manage CIS submissions to HMRC
  7. Reconcile supplier accounts during month-end
  8. General accounts administration
  9. Answer business calls and assist clients and suppliers
  10. Maintain electronic filing of all approved invoices
  11. Provide cover for absent team members as needed

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in administration
  2. Experience with Sage is desirable
  3. Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and be proactive
