Relief Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs? Creative Support is seeking dedicated Relief Support Workers to join our compassionate team in Carlisle.

In this role, you will provide personalized support to seven adults residing in a supported living service. You'll empower them to participate in community activities, develop essential life skills, and achieve greater independence.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily tasks, promoting their autonomy and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Facilitate meaningful community engagement and social interaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, advocates, and other professionals involved in the individuals' care.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment that fosters growth and respect.

  • Prior experience in providing support to adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
  • A genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
