About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fulfilment Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Co-ordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
