Samuel Frank is seeking an experienced HV/LV Engineer to lead a team of skilled technicians and electricians in a globally recognized manufacturing company based in the Deeside/Chester area.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a small team of HV Technicians and Electricians in managing HV/LV infrastructure on site.
- Manage specialist HV support contracts and cable jointing contractors.
- Authorize switching (33kV minimum) and write switching schedules.
- Develop and implement strong communication and leadership skills.
- Participate in the site electrical safety committee.
- Deliver annual "Safety Near Misses" training.
- Stay up-to-date with current legislation, including "Electricity at Work" regulations.
- Manage Health & Safety regulations.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Conduct risk assessments and specify mitigation measures.
- 35 days holiday per year, including Bank Holidays.
- Annual pay review.
- Support for HV/LV Engineers seeking Chartered status.
