About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Coordinate and manage daily store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a strong track record of delivering results
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service
