About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our team at Ceredigion County Council. As a key member of our ICT department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of software developers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain software development processes and procedures to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams.
  • Strong technical skills in software development, including C#,.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and React.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
