Job Summary:
The Medical People Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead Dietitian to join our team in a hospital setting. As a key member of the community integrated care team, you will be responsible for leading the development of a specialized clinical dietetic service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to support workers and community teams in the identification and management of patients at nutritional risk.
- Develop and implement training programs to upskill staff in nutrition and hydration needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, and pharmacists, to ensure timely identification and management of patients at nutritional risk.
- Embed current policy and best practice to reduce delayed response times and increase opportunities for proactive malnutrition management.
- Manage a clinical caseload of adults with complex nutritional support needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in clinical dietetics and leadership roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of current policy and best practice in nutrition and hydration.
