Store Manager Designate

About the Role
As a Store Manager Designate at Superdrug, you will play a crucial role in leading our retail teams to achieve sales and service targets. You will work closely with your Store Manager to identify opportunities to grow sales, optimize stock range and availability, and maintain strict cost and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
- Work with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
- Manage stock levels, inventory, and merchandise to ensure optimal availability and minimize waste
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and overheads
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and address any operational issues or concerns

About You
- You have a passion for retail and customer service, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- You are a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel
Designate Role
In this role, you will support the business by being willing to travel to a variety of stores locally around your base location based on demand. This will provide you with exposure and day-to-day variety, and will help support future hiring needs.
