Job Title: Specialized Educational Support Practitioner

Role Overview:

  • Design and implement targeted educational strategies for students with special educational needs.
  • Evaluate, document, and analyze the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Communicate findings and progress reports effectively.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure cohesive support.
  • Accurately record assessments before and after interventions.
  • Assist classroom teams in the planning and execution of lessons.
  • Provide necessary updates for Individual Targeted Action Plans and Annual Reviews.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven abilities in numeracy and literacy.
  • Prior experience in an educational environment.
  • Teaching experience with both individuals and groups.
  • Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in ICT applications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics.
  • Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering training interventions.
