Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist educators in implementing customized learning plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Help prepare and organize educational materials and resources for classroom activities.
  • Facilitate both individual and group learning sessions, ensuring that each student's unique requirements are addressed.
  • Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
  • Track and document student progress, providing valuable insights to educators and families.
  • Support students with personal care and assistance as necessary.
  • Oversee students during breaks and extracurricular activities to ensure their safety and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the educational team to devise and execute effective support strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience with children who have special educational needs is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with SEN.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
