Position: Specialist Educational Support Practitioner

Role Overview:

  • Design and implement tailored educational strategies for students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Assess, monitor, and document the effectiveness of educational interventions
  • Provide comprehensive reports on support provisions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated support
  • Accurately document assessments before and after interventions
  • Assist classroom teams in the preparation and execution of lessons
  • Deliver updates for Individual Targeted Action Plans (ITAPs) and Annual Reviews

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven abilities in numeracy and literacy
  • Experience working within an educational environment
  • Background in teaching both individuals and groups
  • Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
  • Proficient in information and communication technology (ICT)

Essential Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics
  • Teaching Assistant (TA) or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering training interventions
