About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at We Are With You. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are experiencing difficulties with substance misuse and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with young people in a 1:1 or group setting to provide support and guidance
  • Develop and implement care plans to address the needs of young people
  • Provide education and training to young people to help them navigate their challenges
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for young people
  • Conduct risk assessments and complete accurate case details in a timely manner
Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with young people in a 1:1 or group setting
  • Experience of working with young people with substance misuse and/or mental health difficulties
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
