Your Role and Responsibilities:

In the position of Technical Operations Associate, you will be instrumental in enhancing the Operational Resilience, efficiency, and reliability of our banking platform. Collaborating within the Technical Operations Team, your technical acumen will be vital in supporting risk management initiatives, automating workflows, and optimizing system performance. Your contributions will foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Logging and tracking vulnerabilities and risks, working with internal teams to ensure thorough risk management aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Assisting in the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive library of scenario tests, including Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.
  • Monitoring compliance with Key Risk Indicators and impact tolerances, aiding in the implementation of Incident Management/Service Level Objectives (IM/SLO) reporting.
  • Conducting regular self-assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, documenting findings, and supporting the execution of action plans to rectify any deficiencies.
  • Maintaining and testing Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to ensure preparedness for potential disruptions.
  • Supporting effective processes for incident and change management.
  • Utilizing automation tools to develop scenarios that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participating in the on-call schedule for Major Incident Management.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in operational resilience, introducing innovative tools and technologies to drive enhancements.
  • Documenting system designs and operational procedures, sharing knowledge across teams to promote collaboration.

Candidate Profile:

  • Adaptability and Quick Learning: Ability to swiftly understand new concepts and technologies, adjust to evolving environments, and effectively implement innovative ideas.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data trends to identify potential issues and improvements, capable of providing actionable insights and training team members in data analysis techniques.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in identifying root causes of incidents and implementing effective solutions to enhance service reliability.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage tasks and projects efficiently, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Strong decision-making capabilities, considering both immediate and long-term impacts.
  • Process Adherence: Competence in adhering to incident and change management processes, managing medium to high complexity incidents confidently.
  • Understanding of Service Architecture: Comprehensive knowledge of service architecture, providing valuable insights for architectural decisions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Skill in building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Risk Management: Ability to support the logging and tracking of vulnerabilities and risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Automation Proficiency: Experience in utilizing automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
