The opportunity

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Operational Excellence Consultant. Within the consulting business in the UK, the Operational Excellence Team delivers on all aspects of our client's digital transformation journeys.

About the Digital Transformation Consulting (DTC) practice at Eviden

As a member of DTC, you will operate within a fast-paced consulting environment, comprised of more than 850 diverse and high performing experts worldwide. Our teams work on challenging digital projects that deliver creative and innovative solutions across multiple industries and sectors.

The Consulting practise offers a range of effective transformation and innovative solutions which support clients on their Digital Transformation journey. The practise combines its depth of knowledge in business and technology areas to deliver industry specific solutions.

Who we are looking for

As part of our growth strategy in the UK, we are looking to increase the capability and capacity of our Operational Excellence Team. We seek candidates who have a hardworking management consultancy background, working on complex business problems, ideally within a technology context, and have the desire to be part of an organisation that develops and delivers innovative solutions to private- and public-sector clients.

Our consultants are at the heart of driving the Operational Excellence solutions forward and are key to delivering innovative engagements. As a consultant, you'll have the opportunity to become a Subject Matter Expert, enhancing both your own skills and reputation, as well as that of Eviden. Success in this role requires the ability to forge strong relationships with partners and clients while ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all engagements.

Note: This role normally requires travel to varying work locations predominantly in, but not confined to, the UK, on an as-required basis. Successful candidates must therefore be prepared to stay away from home as necessary, according to need. At present, travel will take place only as permitted and appropriate.

Note: The candidate should also hold or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.

Requirements:

  • Strong leading consultancy background including on business analysis and process improvement engagements.
  • Demonstrated experience in advising clients on how to improve business operations, including cost reduction and automation.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring small teams to successfully deliver consulting engagements.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience in contributing to the sale of work or contract extensions.
  • Training in/experience of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of standard Operational Excellence methodologies and practices.

Desirables:

  • Strong experience of the application of Lean principles and thinking – Lean Green Belt or above and/or Business Analysis qualification. Certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, and/or Business Analysis.
  • Process mining experience.
  • Experience leading workstreams within digital transformation project.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Pega, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and SAP.
