Key Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize existing processes, including scheduling, labor planning, routing, and forecasting.
• Explore new initiatives and pilot programs, developing tools and reports to drive business outcomes. This will involve leveraging data skills and collaborating with technical teams to implement scalable automation solutions.

A Day in the Life:
As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Amazon's logistics operations, focusing on safety, productivity, and quality. Your responsibilities will include conducting observations and audits to pinpoint areas for improvement and recommending changes based on your findings.

You will be accountable for influencing operational efficiency and may need to analyze processes at various locations as required. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share best practices and insights across our European network.

Basic Qualifications:
• A relevant degree.
• Advanced data skills, including proficiency in Excel, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in utilizing data to inform business decisions.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A valid Full UK Driving License.
• Strong document writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a related technical field.
• Experience in data manipulation and presentation using Excel.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Experience with analytical tools such as Minitab, JMP, or MS Access.
