IDEX Consulting Ltd have been retained by a leading independent broker with a global presence to hire an experienced insurance professional to take on the role of Head of International Specialty.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established team with a clear and concise 5 year plan for development. Working across all major lines of business including Property, Casualty, Cyber, Technology and Financial Lines on an international portfolio, you will be responsible for day to day management of the business unit working with clients and underwriters, driving growth from new and existing revenue streams.

We are keen to hear from individuals with exceptional leadership qualities and with a proven track record in the successful development of an insurance broking business unit. You will need experience of managing a Profit and Loss statement and have a wide and well established network of underwriters.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the business unit
  • Work with clients and underwriters to drive growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue
  • Manage a team of professionals
