About the Role

Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets is seeking a Head of Marine, Engineering & Specialty Claims to join our team in London. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for the management and adjustment of all Marine, Engineering and Specialty claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and adjust claims to ensure a quality claims service is provided.
  • Participate in regular leadership and underwriting meetings to provide feedback on policy wordings and market losses.
  • Represent the Syndicate in claims meetings and discussions, both in UK Courts and worldwide.

Requirements

  • Sound business knowledge and understanding of insurance practice, generic legal principles, FCA rules and regulations, and Lloyd's regulations.
