About the Department & Team:Our claims department is responsible for handling claims across multiple classes of business, including UK Casualty, High Excess, and Environmental Impairment Liability. As a Head of Casualty Claims, you will work closely with our Head of Third Party Claims to deliver corporate goals and promote our core values.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of claims handlers and ensure that all claims are handled efficiently and fairly.
- Work closely with our Head of Third Party Claims to deliver corporate goals and promote our core values.
- Develop and implement claims handling strategies to ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with our claims charter and code of conduct.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contribute to the development of our claims policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
We are looking for a highly experienced claims professional with a strong background in casualty claims. You will have advanced knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices, procedures, and techniques, including coverage issues, product lines, marketing, IT, and product competition within the marketplace. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
