Head of Casualty Claims Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned claims professional to join our team as a Head of Casualty Claims. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for managing a team of claims handlers and ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and fairly in accordance with our claims charter and code of conduct.
About the Department & Team:Our claims department is responsible for handling claims across multiple classes of business, including UK Casualty, High Excess, and Environmental Impairment Liability. As a Head of Casualty Claims, you will work closely with our Head of Third Party Claims to deliver corporate goals and promote our core values.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of claims handlers and ensure that all claims are handled efficiently and fairly.
- Work closely with our Head of Third Party Claims to deliver corporate goals and promote our core values.
- Develop and implement claims handling strategies to ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with our claims charter and code of conduct.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contribute to the development of our claims policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
We are looking for a highly experienced claims professional with a strong background in casualty claims. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have a strong understanding of claims handling concepts, practices, procedures, and techniques, including coverage issues, product lines, marketing, IT, and product competition within the marketplace.
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification, and be ACII qualified or working towards it. You will also have a strong understanding of law and insurance regulations in various jurisdictions.
