About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Supervisor/Duty Manager to join our team at Future Inns Bristol. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for leading your shift in the absence of the Night Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and conference centre.

Your primary duties will include reception duties, night audits, maintaining the security of our hotel, guests, and grounds, as well as ensuring the hotel and conference centre is ready for the day ahead. Excellent customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft packages, including the use of databases, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead your shift in the absence of the Night Manager
  • Perform reception duties, including checking in guests and handling customer inquiries
  • Conduct night audits to ensure the accuracy of our financial records
  • Maintain the security of our hotel, guests, and grounds
  • Ensure the hotel and conference centre is ready for the day ahead
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including the use of databases
  • Experience working in a hotel environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and reliability
