About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Community Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions in the community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake complex nursing assessments and develop and deliver programmes of care for patients and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, voluntary sector, and informal carers to promote excellent care to patients in their own homes and community setting.
  • Join an enthusiastic and motivated team who are friendly and approachable, with a strong focus on patient care and staff development.
  • Have a full UK driving license and access to a car to fulfill the role.
About Us

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust operates from three main hospitals, including Furness General Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital, as well as community healthcare premises. We provide a range of General Hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and Consultant-led services.
