Company Overview:
Americas is a well-established entity in the travel sector, dedicated to connecting reputable Latin American Destination Management Companies (DMCs) with the UK market for over 33 years.

Position Summary:
We are in search of a motivated and personable Marketing and Administration Specialist to collaborate closely with the Managing Director. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in the travel industry or those who possess a strong enthusiasm for travel and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support digital marketing efforts, including newsletters, email campaigns, and social media management across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Enhance the functionality of our Salesforce CRM system.
  • Assist the Managing Director in planning sales calls and nurturing business relationships.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for key annual events.
  • Contribute to website content creation and updates using WordPress.
  • Create and update branded materials as needed using Canva.
  • Conduct market research focused on tour operators.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably within the travel sector.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Ability to schedule and manage social media content.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, such as MailChimp.
  • Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in a small business environment.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in MailChimp, Salesforce, and Canva being advantageous.
  • Interest in Latin American culture and travel.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility around occasional events.

Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience, along with 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

Travel Requirements:
Some travel may be necessary, primarily to support business operations.
