Role Summary:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Internal Sales Specialist to enhance our vibrant sales team. The ideal candidate will manage customer relationships, process orders, and assist the sales team in reaching organizational goals. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of the steel sector, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both existing and prospective clients, discerning their needs and offering customized solutions.
  • Order Processing: Efficiently handle customer orders, ensuring prompt delivery and compliance with specifications.
  • Quotations and Pricing: Generate and present precise quotations, negotiate pricing, and follow up on customer inquiries to secure sales.
  • Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with the inventory team to guarantee product availability, manage stock levels, and oversee logistics to fulfill customer demands.
  • Sales Assistance: Support the external sales team by providing relevant product insights, market trends, and customer feedback to help achieve sales objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Remain informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the CRM system, supplying regular updates to management.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfactory resolutions and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years in internal sales, ideally within the steel sector or related industries.
  • Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of steel products, grades, and applications.

Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities.
