As an Infrastructure Project Leader within our North-West Infrastructure division, you will engage in a variety of stimulating and complex projects, both at the national and local levels. You will become part of a dynamic team of innovators dedicated to providing advanced solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful execution of intricate, multi-disciplinary projects within collaborative teams.
  • Manage client-side project oversight, including stakeholder engagement, health and safety, risk assessment, quality assurance, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Ensure project delivery meets client expectations in terms of quality, budget, and timelines.
  • Support and guide the project team, ensuring the provision of necessary resources to meet client and organizational objectives.
  • Effectively manage subcontractors and resources that are not part of the core project team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
  • Assist in identifying business development opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the Built Environment with a comprehensive understanding of Infrastructure Project Management.
  • Familiarity with the NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC), with experience in the role of named NEC ECC Project Manager being highly desirable.
  • Experience working within an integrated, multi-organization collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Highly motivated with a growing network within the industry.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of fostering connections with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently while closely collaborating with Senior Project Managers and Associates on project delivery.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, characterized by politeness, patience, diplomacy, and flexibility.
  • Proficient in IT and adept at utilizing current digital tools.
  • Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of various project types, sizes, and sectors, with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs.

Are You Ready to Challenge the Norm?

We are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience in providing project management services, including leading meetings, documenting discussions, developing project execution plans, progress reports, and tender documentation.
  • A relevant degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience may be considered for exceptional candidates.
  • Experience in the built environment as a client-side Project Manager, with a preference for experience in Energy, Aviation, Water, Rail, and/or NEC Project Management.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contract management, with accreditation being highly desirable.
  • A project management qualification such as APMQ or PRINCE2 is preferred.
  • Membership in a related professional body, preferably chartered (APM, CIOB), is desirable.
  • Willingness to undergo and successfully complete security screening checks.
