The Role
We are looking for a skilled Construction Project Leader to oversee substantial infrastructure initiatives within the North East region. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a project leadership role
- CPCS and CSCS Certifications
- SMSTS Certification
- NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor Certification
- Confined Spaces Certification
- Deep Excavation / Temporary Works Supervisor Certification
- Emergency First Aid Certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients, subcontractors, and various trades to coordinate all project aspects, ensuring completion aligns with client specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Prepare and issue Work Instructions and Risk Assessments related to project activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the resources necessary for project completion.
- Regularly monitor project delivery timelines and report progress to the Project Manager.
- Ensure adequate supervision of all subcontractors.
- Manage and coordinate any specific safety documentation required by the client.
Travel and Flexibility
This position requires being based on-site in the North East, with potential travel to other sites as business needs dictate.
Working Hours
7am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
